I’m self-taught when it comes to music. Thank you to my incredible poetry teachers Megan Freeman and Kristie Betts Letter for teaching me so much about writing.
Right now I’m in between jobs after deciding to withdraw from graduate school at Teachers College Columbia University. After working in tech for years, I decided to retrain as a therapist. That’s a long story you might be interested in hearing one day. I got in trouble for antiwar protesting. (I oppose the actions of Hamas, the actions Benjamin Netanyahu undertakes in the name of the state of Israel, and how the USA continues to get involved in colonialist or oil-related wars.) Here’s a preview.
For everyone who’s ever cried alone
My father committed suicide when I was fourteen years old.
These albums are written for an all-ages audience because kids lose their parents in our cruel world. I wrote my songs with that audience in mind: there’s some swearing but nothing I wasn’t exposed to as a child roaming the wilds of the internet.
Please note that the songs talk about love, loss, heartbreak, and death.
